finally, inside the hall!! 4 recruiters and hellalot of applicants.. from this point i was losing hope of getting the call after the 30 second interview.. (if that's even called an interview.. lol) naisip ko nalang, nagpagod narin lang akong pumila, might as well ituloy naren, tutal wala naman mawawala kahit tawagan nila ako o hindi.. :)

 kahit nakita kong stressed lahat ng applicants dun, todo ngiti paren.. nakaka inspire lang, alam kong sobrang one in a million chance, pero walang sumusuko..

bottom line is: magfflats muna ako before mag heels! :P haha! i did not get the golden call. i did not expect to get one neither. sobrang daming applicants! swertehan lang talaga eh. :) sa mga nakapasok, congratulations.. sa mga first timer umattend, tulad ko, next time ulit!! tuloy ang pag habol sa wings! ayos ba yun? walang susuko.

10. DO NOT mess with how she arranges her suitcase. Boots are for Boots sack, shampoos are for toilettries, undies are for undies bag and so on.

11. DO NOT expect her to remember names of your friends in one sitting.

12. DO NOT accuse her of bragging when she says she went to Paris for Coffee or just hit the gym in Berlin. She's just plainly, innocently telling you a story.

13. Do not get intimidated by the beautiful men around him, chances are she's already used to/sick of seeing hotness in form. Those men have lost their beauty.

14. DO NOT call her on the phone when she’s on Standby. DO NOT… ever.

15. Do NOT question why Half of the dresses in her closet has never been worn, and she still complains, she doesn’t have anymore.

16. Do Not remove any clothes you think is too much in his suitcase, remember: she has four sets of outfit in her suitcase: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Fall.

24. Remind her which country she is in first thing when she wakes up in the morning

25. During dinner, when she asks you whether you like chicken or beef… Oboohooy! you better think fast!

26. Begin to be scared when you oversee a long line in Immigration, she has zero tolerance on airport queues.

27. Work your muscle for a trip together, you’ll be carrying at least four baggages for her. A Gucci make-up bag, a Paul Smith, a World Traveller Trolley, and a Burberry Laptop bag at least for a Domestic Flight.

28. A bouquet of flowers is THE if not, THE ONLY way to say “I missed you” when you pick her up at the airport.

29. Prepare yourself for her jetlag, otherwise known as the PFS or the POST Flight Syndrome. You should be awake when she is and asleep when she is . You don’t want to see a whole 72 hours of tantrums.

30. And lastly, it might seem like she thinks she is overqualified for love. But DO remember that in reality, she feels like she is just an ordinary girl standing in front of a boy, asking him…

back so soon?

i came from manila, plan was to apply for 5j, skypasada (ground steward), screening @ ipams, brunei air, & oman.. heres what happened.

arrived manila at 5:20am. i went home straight, ate breakfast.. took a bath, put on my uniform & make-up. then prepared some more for the screenings. first stop was training and development center. (5j) i forgot what time i arrived, i was applicant # 41. (numbers were random) i was pretty confident. NOT nervous at all. because i have experienced going through it already, so my feeling was, it would just be the same process. my friend jboy even called me and i was happy talking with him that time.. no bad vibes was felt. i swear. then while waiting for my turn to be screened, 2 more ladies then me... i suddenly had a strange feeling. i could not explain it. i was perspiring and feeling cold, then butterflies was felt in my stomach. i was thinking twice. to go or not.. i dont know. it sure was weird!! my turn came, i walked in the room, smiled and greeted the interviewer. 

she said how may i call you? 

i said just call me d.......

she said im ella, i will be screening you for blah.. blah...

miss ella then started asking questions, like

how many times i already applied...

who screened me last time...

what happened during my last application...

so i answered her honestly, i told her that its my 2nd time to apply.. 1st was that i was screened directly @ the inflight service by ms titith & ms mariksi.. and i was supposed to be batch 58.. i just got pregnant thats why i did not push through with my application..

after that she asked me to stand on the x mark on the floor, measured my height.. then let me removed my blazer, asked me to stand on the t mark, checked on my legs, and arms, also my face.. then asked me to smile at her..

before i left the room, she told me that if i receive a txt or call from her, i would go back for a scheduled interview, and if not, that just means i did not make it.

i went home to have lunch first then i went to wcc anonas, for an interview.. they started skypasada. and asked me if i wanted to try out as ground steward. i had no plans for that afternoon, so i just said yes..

i had exams, and have been interviewed for ground steward position.. i will not go detailed with the questions, they were easy anyways..

it was 4pm, and still no txt/call from 5j.. so i decided to meet my friends and have dinner somewhere in makati.. while having a blast with them my phone rang.

it was from my mother, asking me to go home asap (baguio) coz my daughter was crying non stop.. and they dont know what to do anymore.. (my daughter turns red hot when crying, so it really scares them) so what i did was canceled all my appointments for the next day (going @ ipams, brunei air, oman... etc ) including whether or not to receive a call from 5j..

i went to the terminal, and had a trip booked for baguio @ 8:20pm..

I DID NOT MAKE IT. no call nor text msgs reached me.

at first i was wondering why, and started asking myself what i did wrong. i made it the first time... so what should be the reason why i did not make it this time? then, i just realized, things really happen for a reason. whatever reason it is. im just happy im with my daughter now. :) maybe i should not stress things out. no more pressure this time. being a mom is still my calling.. im not saying NO MORE flying for me. its just that, im surprised i did not feel bad after not making it. its my first rejection by the way.

now i know how it feels when you say child first before anything else. aww.. im such a mushy mother. lol. no hard feelings at all. :) to those who made it, and to those whose still waiting... i wish y'all the best. never give up yeah? :) i will see y'all soon. believe me God has his own ways! :)

hi guys! im back! sorry for not bein active in the cyberworld for the past days.. been busy preparing for my brothers graduation.. and yes, preparing for my applications, too. i believe that even screenings or assessments should NOT be taken for granted.. it took me sooooo much time preparing for it. still, i feel my preparation is not enough. hehe. oh well.. here are some updates on airline job openings particularly in cabin crew positions.. best of luck!! :)

i got bored. so i browsed some pictures in our computer.. i saw this!! haha! this was three years ago? (i think) im wearing my boyfriends uniform. yes, he was a cadet. and now a navy officer. my brother is a graduating cadet, too.. and it'll be his graduation this march 1. he is single by the way!! hahahaha! (ibenta ba ang kapatid?) that's the reason why i could not attend the QR od. :( but its fine. i'd spend time with my family first. :) i can wait for it, and i know its not yet time. maximize with family and with kiddo first!! and after that, mind set.. and be prepared for applications!! one time big time!! haha!! after years of waiting, i hope, when i finally apply, shooooot! fly agad!! good luck to those who'll attend the od's here in the PI and abroad. :) all the best guys!! fly with y'all soon!! :)

while i was in the hospital, confined (doc said i dont eat on time.. that's why i vomit once in a while) i received this msg.

i was surprised and really shocked knowing i didn't apply online.. so i called them and looked for ms abie.. she asked for my name.. and assessed me (asked for my age, height, educational background, asked if im single...) so i was curious and asked her, (where did you get the info/ my cv, i last applied i think november 2008 and pr turned me down. i was supposed to be for medicals already....) she did not lemme finish talking.. she said (ms... please go here on Monday (feb15) for your impact interview..) i found it odd!! (pex people know the story) so i didn't go.. i knew it. pr is not for me. they don't accept moms. so going there for another interview would not be worth my time. call me bitter. but i know in my heart that im not just for pr. i'll NOT allow them to hurt me again. no. never again. haha!

heart's day? yes, there's such a thing..

since i don't have my Valentine with me, i decided to date myself. lol :) i went to the parlor, had my nails done, body massage after.. and bought some toys for my lil kiddo.. that's it. im not really a fan of valentines day, so it doesn't really matter. while i was on my way home, i saw couples wearing red. haha! i remember high school days.. wherein i always get teddy bears, not the usual ones!! i mean BIG bears, bigger than me, haha!! (i gave them up for child donations already) i find it weird but, i don't like flowers neither. i prefer bags and shoes for gifts. hahaha!! oh well, i don't have much to say, so that's it.. i just had some definitions of v-day and love down there.. yeah. i know right! no one could really define love. sometimes.. i hate love. :P (labo ko!)
