PAL

while i was in the hospital, confined (doc said i dont eat on time.. that's why i vomit once in a while) i received this msg.

i was surprised and really shocked knowing i didn't apply online.. so i called them and looked for ms abie.. she asked for my name.. and assessed me (asked for my age, height, educational background, asked if im single...) so i was curious and asked her, (where did you get the info/ my cv, i last applied i think november 2008 and pr turned me down. i was supposed to be for medicals already....) she did not lemme finish talking.. she said (ms... please go here on Monday (feb15) for your impact interview..) i found it odd!! (pex people know the story) so i didn't go.. i knew it. pr is not for me. they don't accept moms. so going there for another interview would not be worth my time. call me bitter. but i know in my heart that im not just for pr. i'll NOT allow them to hurt me again. no. never again. haha!

14 February 2010

heart's day? yes, there's such a thing..

since i don't have my Valentine with me, i decided to date myself. lol :) i went to the parlor, had my nails done, body massage after.. and bought some toys for my lil kiddo.. that's it. im not really a fan of valentines day, so it doesn't really matter. while i was on my way home, i saw couples wearing red. haha! i remember high school days.. wherein i always get teddy bears, not the usual ones!! i mean BIG bears, bigger than me, haha!! (i gave them up for child donations already) i find it weird but, i don't like flowers neither. i prefer bags and shoes for gifts. hahaha!! oh well, i don't have much to say, so that's it.. i just had some definitions of v-day and love down there.. yeah. i know right! no one could really define love. sometimes.. i hate love. :P (labo ko!)
Love is any of a number of emotions related to a sense of strong affection and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure ("I loved that meal") to intense interpersonal attraction ("I love my wife"). This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states. As an abstract concept, love usually refers to a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person. Even this limited conception of love, however, encompasses a wealth of different feelings, from the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love to the nonsexual emotional closeness of familial and platonic love to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love. Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.
Saint Valentine's day (commonly shortened to Valentine's Day)is an annual holiday held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. The holiday is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentine and was established by Pope Gelasius I in AD 496. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The holiday first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. Modern Valentine's Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid. Since the 19th century, handwritten valentines have largely given way to mass-produced greeting cards. (wikipedia)

rejected?!?

Don't be discouraged. It's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock.
Never consider the possibility of failure; as long as you persist, you will be successful.

remember: everybody wants happiness..
nobody wants pain...
but you can't have a rainbow,
without a little rain.

Between you and every goal that you wish to achieve, there is a series of obstacles, and the bigger the goal, the bigger the obstacles. Your decision to be, have and do something out of the ordinary entails facing difficulties and challenges that are out of the ordinary as well. Sometimes your greatest asset is simply your ability to stay with it longer than anyone else.
It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

never give Up.

there's a saying in tagalog that goes this way..
"kung malapit ka nang bumitaw, bumitaw ka muna saglit.. tapos kumapit ka nang mas mahigpit.. hindi ka naman mahuhulog eh, dahil nasa lupa ka." every time i feel like giving up. i just hold on to this and motivates myself to keep going.. no one can say we can't do it. IT'S ALL in the MIND. *to those who are still waiting for their email, hold on guys, hang in there, it will come. if it doesn't. try another.. don't give up. may HIS will be done. :)

i got from fb

Your Daily Horoscope: February 2, 2010

Scorpio Oct. 23 - Nov 21
Today the emphasis is on ambition for you, Scorpio, but circumstances may force you to hide it in order to maneuver yourself into the proper position to bring your plans forth. Since you are getting closer to fulfilling a dream, you may be seeing smaller goals that can be accomplished more easily. If you keep track of them some way, you'll stay focused on living your ideals. You may want to consider every day a dress rehearsal for your future, but don't get into exaggerating, or making outlandish claims: that won't get you very far.

i know. it's all in the mind right? lets hope for the best for this year!! for February as well. lets walk our talk. we can do it!! we'll all fly!!! we just have to stay focused!! so hang on there.. lets give it another try. :) aja!! :)

its a mommy thingy

i have been thinking for a week now, whether to go or not on the emirates assessment.. and for my interview in ceb. all my friends, including you guys (who read my blog and left comments on my chatbox) said YES/GO!! i would like to go, too, with all my heart, i know its really a yes. but sometimes priority comes first. and being a mom for my baby, i think is my calling.. as for this time. im sad coz i really want to attend the assessment and interview.. but my kid needs me.. and i cant think of myself, my dream, my career first before her. i know i should not be feeling this way, coz in the first place it was me who made the decision of not going.. its just that i could not take the happiness that i would feel if ever i would do good during my interviews, while my baby is crying at home looking for me. i cant take the guilt. it kills. seriously. i need to sacrifice. now i know the feeling, its really different when you are really a mother. you would feel for your child. heartbreaking. i am not giving up on this dream.. maybe, its not yet my time. maybe there is a reason why this is happening to me. i am positive. im still hoping.. looking forward.. i know. one day, i would also be up there.. serving caviar, in first class.

24 January 2010

one lazy afternoon

i was browsing through blogs and reading pms from my fb account randomly.. because i had nothing to do, i was home alone and bored as hell.. i was thinking weather to go or not on the cebu pacifics screening and at the same time be assessed at ipams for emirates after.. so im looking for some signs since my questions have got to be answered and my confusion must have an end. then out of the blue i went to check my emails since it was a very long time since i last checked on it.. until i saw this in my inbox...

see how fast signs showed up? is this enough?? i need more signs please! i really want to be sure about my decision. :)
